Use this walkthrough while completing your Stripe Connect Express setup from your obid account. Follow each stage in order and compare your screen to the screenshot for that step.
Step 1
Enter your email address and select Continue. Stripe will guide you to mobile verification next.
Step 2
Add your UK mobile number, submit the form, then enter the one-time code sent by SMS. Complete any anti-bot check if prompted.

Step 3
Choose your country and the business structure that matches how you trade on obid. Most independent sellers use Individual / Sole Trader.
Step 4
Enter your legal first and last name, date of birth, and full home address exactly as shown on official documents.
Step 5
Provide your website or business profile link. If you primarily sell on obid, include your obid shop URL where possible.
Step 6
Select GBP and United Kingdom, then enter your sort code and account number carefully. Confirm details before continuing.
Step 7
Check each section, edit anything incorrect, then choose Agree and submit. Stripe will return you to obid after completion.
I closed Stripe by mistake
Go back to Account ? Billing and Payouts, then choose Manage Stripe onboarding to resume where you left off.
My bank details were rejected
Confirm account number and sort code are correct and belong to a UK GBP account in your own legal name.
Stripe asks for more information later
This is normal for compliance checks. Open the onboarding link again and complete the requested details.
